This past week at a church meeting I tried these awesome snacks. I hadn't heard of them before but found the idea of " nuts" made with chick peas interesting so decided to give them a try. After the second handful and babbling to my not as amused husband about how tasty they were I decided to pick up a couple bags. Now, as a mother of six I am always thinking about the budget and try to make many things at home. So, off to try my hand at these new, slightly strange, but also delicious little snacks.
I was pleasantly surprised that these 3 Step "chickpea nuts" took virtually zero work. Simply dump out and rinse a can of chick peas, season, and air fry, and for an added bonus these are SO much cheaper than the store bought ones!

Quick & easy air fried " chickpea nuts"
Ingredients:
- 1 of chick peas
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- your preferred seasonings and spices
Directions:
1. Drain and rinse chick peas
2. add chick peas to a bowl and toss with olive oil and seasonings
3. air fry at 400 degrees for 15-20 mins
This quick easy snack is a healthier option than many we may alternatively reach for when pressed for time.
For a sweet variation try sprinkling a little cinnamon and monk sweetener on these Quick & easy air fried " chickpea nuts" .
