Hello North Brevard!
I hope you all have been having a wonderful fun filled summer! Here, the Brashear Bunch has been enjoying some last minute outings, and enjoying a couple of our Florida theme parks, squeezing as much fun possible in these last few days of summer!
As we wind down from vacation, and gear up for back to school I wanted to take a minute and let you know of some updates and changes as we transition into the school year.
First as you may have noticed the newsletter usually comes out on Tuesdays, this will change to Fridays from this point forward. I know how busy we all are during the school week, and having the events for that weekend and the following week hopefully will help better while planning the week!
Second the school start dates for this year for Brevard Public Schools are, Tuesday August 10th for 1st-12th grade, Fridays August 13th for all Kindergarteners , and Tuesday August 17th for all Pre-K students. Please note that if your child attends a private school these dates may vary.
At this point in time masks are still planned to be optional and school will be in person. If your family wishes to do virtual learning, FLVS is an option please view their website for more information.
